Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone who joined me on the water in 2024. I'm already looking forward to the spring 2025 fly fishing season! A few folks are excited about the spring as well as some dates have started to book already. While it's not the prime fly fishing spring provides, there is opportunity to fly fish in the winter in Syracuse and Central NY (weather dependent). In addition to being a fly fishing guide in Central New York, I also own and operate my small wood-crafting business, Edgewood Outdoors. The main products I craft are wood fly fishing nets. All nets are handmade by me, right here in Syracuse, NY. These are the same nets I use while guiding each day and they are built to last. Various hardwoods are used and different sizes are available. All nets come with catch and release rubber netting, safe for the fish and helps you keep flies untangled so you can keep on fishing.
